lesson overview
In this lesson students will take part in a mock UN symposium. They will remain in their characters and discuss with the other students about how climate change affects them. At the beginning of the lesson, students will be informed of how to conduct a symposium and the general rules involved. The research they have conducted will help them participate in the symposium and answer the key questions. The teacher will lead the forum and facilitate the schedule. At the conclusion of the lesson, the teacher will conclude the forum and out of character, the students will discuss the successes of the day.
