Lesson Overview
This lesson is designed to introduce students to the topic of climate change and begin to prompt prior knowledge. Students will scaffold their peers learning as they participate in a post it note race where students display their prior knowledge. They will then create their own 'world' of ideas displaying the key ideas from the activity. This will form as a formative piece of assessment for the teacher who can then lead class discussion surrounding the topic and as a class formulate focus questions for the unit.
